YOGA:
I have been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years. I have been a certified instructor for 10 years. over the years I have taken many classes and have seen that a group setting does not give the true benefits of yoga and meditation. Private practice does. So I have spent years communicating with medical professionals, practitioners over seas, and doing lots of research to streamline yoga so it can work for everyone!
As my motto says "Catering to the Unmotivated, Uncoordinated & Out-of-Shape". I do not instruct the general yogi. I work with those who never thought they could do yoga and teach them how they can.
Most people think yoga is head stands and twists to improve the body's strength. Yoga does improve strength but it does so much more. Yoga improves balance, releases tension in joints and muscles, reduces stress, promotes balance, promotes circulation and improves mental focus.
Why do yoga? Yoga is a less harmful method of physical fitness. Yoga uses slow movements as opposed to quick movements that can harm your muscles and joints. Many of my clients use yoga as their daily "get-up-and-go" fitness routine in place of going to the gym.
How are my yoga methods different than other studios? I give you step-by-step instruction on each individual pose and explain what it does and how to make it work for your needs. You do not have to follow through with a non-stop class transitioning from one pose to another.
Also, there is no spiritual practice involved in my classes. No matter what religious path you follow this class will not interfere. We strictly focus on the physical benefits of yoga.
My methods are unlike anything else out there. I have clientele in their 20s all they way up to those in their 100s! I have never had any complaints and everyone leaves my lessons feeling better than when they walked in. Every client has always came back for more. So if you think you may not like it, just give it a try. I guarantee you will be hooked and become a life long yogi yourself!
